The Special Preparatory Class for University is addressed to students who wish to pursue higher education in some of the most prestigious Japanese Universities: Waseda, Keio, Sophia, or one of those forming the GMARCH league(Gakushuin, Meiji, Aoyama Gakuin, Rikkyo, Chuo, Hosei). The course aims at refining the Japanese skills needed to pass admission exams, with lessosn like “EJU preparation”, training through past admission tests or “Interview simulation”, but also to prepare students to their life after admission, with lessons on how to assist a lecture or write a report.

    ■Requirements

    • (1)Applicants must be eligible to enter university
    • (2)For applicants who want to enter a Japanese university from April of the following year
    • (3)Applicants must apply for EJU in June and November
    • (4)Concerning Japanese proficiency, applicants must meet one of the following conditions:

      • ①Score 250 points or higher at EJU test in Japanese 
      • ②Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N2 level
      • ③Pass ARC Japanese exam, equivalent to JLPT N1 level

    ■Admission exam

    • (1)Japanese proficiency exam(N2 holders and students who have scored 250 or higher at EJU test are exempted)
    • (2)Essay(minimum 400 characters)
    • (3)Interview
